Vase makeover using dot painting
Hello all !
I had an idea of a vase makeover using dot painting. I was bored of the plain old white vase.
It looks something like this.
I started with this plain vase. I wanted to paint it all black and put white dots on it, but because the surface is so slippery and shiny, I started off with white background itself.
Love for cricket never dies even if you are far away from your home ❤ 😀.
I used q-tips for making the black dots and allpin for making smaller dots. I used acrylic paints for this makeover.
And there he is...great player...desh ki dhadkan 😁
And done !
I painted another vase with the opposite colours like below.
Clay medallion
Hello people !
I had a block of modeling clay which was drying up. So I decided to carve it into a medallion.
I had no fixed design as such in mind. So I started off with a circle. I used a candle to mark the circle.
To carve the design I used a tool.
The rough edges can be smoothed out using a sand paper. Here is the final medallion. It can be painted over when dry.

Hello folks !!
Presenting you here is my second painting of the year. And its a Ganesha again 😊.
I wanted to make something for my parents for a really long time . And this time when I was in India, I made this painting. The main idea for drawing a Ganesha was wishing them that the lord looks after them and removes all obstacles 😇. For this painting I have used acrylic paints and most of them are pearl acrylics and sparkling acrylic paints.
I first drew a sketch and then started with the background tree, lotus and the waves in the bottom.
I had a great time painting this tree. It was very simple and I loved the end result 😍
I hope you liked it. Let me know in the comments below.

Hello friends,
This year has been great so far 😃. I believe its due to the first painting of the year, which is a Ganesha painting 😊. I hope the lord looks after everyone this year 🙏. I had this image in my head of a Ganesha painting with side face with an aura. Here's the sketch on the canvas. I have used acrylic paints for this painting.
I have used sparkling blue acrylic for the blue region. And used pearl acrylic paints for the lotus petals and stem. For the brick red region of band between yellow and green aura, I have used metallic acrylic paint.
In the green aura band, I have glued some pearl like beads. And the yellow band has some kundans too. For the pagdi (turban) of ganesha, I have used some pink beads.
